Medium duty primary cleaners


Pre cleaners are designed to be installed at the head pulley to remove the bulk of carryback adhering to the belt after the natural trajectory of the conveyor has released the product.

Sandvik's range of pre cleaners are efficient and low maintenance units that will give outstanding service life in the most arduous conditions.

Pit Boss (Stainless steel)
Supplied with Tungsten tips (polyurethane as an option). Designed for precleaning of the conveyor and generally removes product of greater than 0.5mm.

  • Each tip is connected to a separate rubber cusion for accurate tip tension.

Pit Bull (Stainless steel)
Supplied with Polyurethane blades. Designed for precleaning of the conveyor belt and generally removes product greater than 0.5mm. The Polyurethane blade is especially suitable for damaged belts or belts fitted with mechanical fasteners.

PIT-BOSS
Multiblade cleaners that have proved their efficiency with several kinds of materials. Difficult contitions can be met with different kind of blade materials, from polyurethane to hard metal. Placement on drive pulley just below material flow.
