Heavy duty primary cleaners

Pre cleaners are designed to be installed at the head pulley to remove the bulk of carryback adhering to the belt after the natural trajectory of the conveyor has released the product. Sandvik's range of pre cleaners are efficient and low maintenance units that will give outstanding service life in the most arduous conditions.

Models Heavy Duty Pit Boss (Stainless Steel) Supplied with Tungsten tips (polyurethane as option). Designed for precleaning of the conveyor and generally removes product greater than 0.5mm. The heavy duty version is suitable for high capacity high speed conveyors. Features and values Utilises Sandvik Tungsten with 59% longer life than comparable brands. Each tip is connected to a separate rubber cushion for accurate tip tension. Self adjusting. Designed for precleaning of the conveyor belt and generally removes product greater than 0.5mm. The Polyurethane blade is especially suitable for damaged belts or belts fitted with mechanical fasteners. The Extra Heavy Duty version can be supplied with either one or two piece blade for reduced replacement cost. Features and values Self adjusting. Long life replaceable polyurethane blades.
