The Sandvik MR520 Roadheader is a boom-type production machine in the 100 t range. The MR520 is specially designed for potash, salt and coal mining applications. The spiral cutter head ensures high specific cutting rate and the capability to cut rock inclusions. The newly designed high performance loading device is equipped with loading spinners instead of loading arms thus gathering the material over the entire width of the loading table.
