Spreaders

Sandvik supplies spreaders up to 350 meters in length. The purpose of the spreader is to receive overburden from the haulage conveyor and dump it in an orderly and efficient manner. Rail or track-mounted tripper cars, usually part of the spreader package, are used to transfer the material from the haulage conveyor to the spreader.
Spreaders PA100-PA200 series Sandvik spreaders are usually tailor-made for the application and built to order. Normally track-mounted, they are of rational, modular construction and equipped with state-of-the-art control systems. Basic data for the most popular models is given in the table below.
