Mining jumbos
Sandvik mining jumbos are robust, stable, extremely productive drill rigs. Available in several models with a wide range of options, they have strong, high-precision universal booms, very fast hydraulic rock drills and long retractable feeds for optimal round length and improved mining economy. With many automatic auxiliaries and safeguards, including automatic parallel holding as standard, they are available with various levels of operative automation as well.

Low profile mining jumbos
Sandvik low-profile (LP) and extra low-profile (XLP) mining jumbos are designed to make it safer and more economical to extract valuable ores from reefs and seams as low as 1.1 meters. Self-propelled and equipped with strong universal booms, automatic parallel holding, very fast hydraulic rock drills and advanced controls, they are exceptionally ergonomic, have excellent face coverage and give very high productivity for their size.

Narrow vein mining jumbos
Sandvik narrow vein drill rigs are designed to work in narrow reef sections. These drill rigs have optimum drilling coverage and performance, as well as good operator and maintenance ergonomics. They are designed with maximum safety and productivity in mind, resulting in value added benefits for the end user. They are typically used in gold mining for development and production, and offer coverage of up to 26mē.
