Rock bolting drill rigs

Sandvik rock bolting rigs are designed to install rock bolts of various types quickly and safely after blasting. Available in high-capacity standard models as well as low profile (LP) and extra low-profile (XLP) models for use in low reefs and seams, they both drill the holes and install the bolts in rapid sequence. Equipped with a telescopic boom, very fast hydraulic rock drill and universal bolting head, they have advanced ergonomic controls with many automatic functions and built-in safeguards to ensure maximum safety.

Rock bolting drill rigs Sandvik ROBOLT and CABOLT-series rock bolting rigs are designed to drill holes and install bolts in rapid sequence safely, economically and effectively. ROBOLT rigs can install various types of bolts, from mechanically anchored bolts to grouted bolts, friction-anchored and water-expanded bolts. CABOLT rigs can install cement-grouted cable bolts up to 25 meters in length. In all cases the operator conducts the entire operation from the safety of a well-protected control station on the rig. They are available in semi-mechanized and mechanized configurations. Like drill rigs, these machines are designed with maximum safety and productivity in mind, resulting in value added benefits for the end user, and are also typically used in tabular ore bodies. They are also available in extra low profile (XLP) configurations, to work in underground working sections as low as 1.2 metres.
