Large series


Large series booms are specially designed for the mining markets. All booms incorporate a proven design combined to over dimensioning makes this a convenient and safe choice. Large booms also feature a multi-fit pedestal, that makes replacing existing, worn-out boom systems more convenient. In addition the number of different parts has been cut to minimum by e.g. fitting same cylinders for all boom functions.
Applications demanding long reach and high breaking power require a Large boom. Applications may include gyratory crushers in mines and quarries, or grizzlies.
Sandvik recommends that Hammers used are up to the BR3890, with on operating weight of over 3 tons, and are capable of effi ciently breaking large boulders of several cubic
meters.
